In the yester years, some other important activities have been carried by the college for the betterment of the society as a whole, which are as follows:

Bhookamp Prakalp (Earthquake Project)

Soon after the devastating earthquake on 26/01/2001, Shree Gulabkunverba Ayurved College, in collaboration with Gujarat Ayurved University, started a special medical relief project for the ailing humanity of Kachchh district. This project lasted for one whole year where free Ayruvedic Medical Aid was provided by Shree Gulabkunverba Ayruved Chikitsalaya every month.

Niramaya Grama Yojana (Disease Free Village Scheme)

On its journey towards achieving the flourishing of the Gujarat State as a whole, the Government of Gujarat has come up with an ambitions multidimensional scheme towards creating a disease free society known as “Niramaya Grama Yojana.” The challenge of its first ever implementation in whole state has been taken up by Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar and in its collaboration, Shree Gulabkunverba Ayurved Mahavidyalaya has launched this project inaugurated on 01/07/2002. Under this scheme, 10 villages of Jamnagar district have been adopted and with the help of Ayurvedic processes like Dinacharya, Rutucharya, etc. and required minimal medicaments of Ayurved, the people of those villages would be made self supportive with regards to health maintenance.

In addition to the above mentioned departments and specialties, for an all-round development of the students, a provision for extra curricular activities is available at the college. These are carried out throughout the year and enthusiastically participated by the students.

In order to look after these activities and to provide voice to the problems of the student fraternity, “Shri Gulabkunverba Ayurved College Students’ Union” is formed every year. There are around seven functioning sections in the union which have representatives from the students as secretaries and one teacher to supervise the respective activity as an in-charge. Principal happens to be the president of the Union by the virtue of the post. Various activities and events are organized during the year by the union like cultural competition and programmes, sports meets, debate competitions, annual day, N.S.S. Camp and other civic activities, etc. It is the proud privilege of the college that the students have many a times given national/regional fame to the institute by bagging various prizes in the cultural and other extra curricular activities.

A Study circle, managed by the students themselves, known as “Comprehensive Vision”, deals with expression of the experience and vision of the students in various fields by arrangement of lectures of experts from the concerned fields, within or without the perview of their curricular demands & provisions.

In order to promote and propagate the sense of duty, co-operation and unity among its students, the college has the unit of N.S.S. (National Service Scheme) as well. During the whole year, various camps of blood donation, blood grouping and civic and social activities at rural area as well as organizing of relief camps in disaster struck areas etc. are carried out by this unit.

This is how, in brief, this college has been a centre looking after the teaching, training, treatment, research and extension activities in the field of Ayurved.
